II. How is SingMAIL different from other e-mail
systems ?
SingMAIL is an E-Mail forwarding system - you still need to read and
send E-Mail from your own ISP account. SingMAIL basically provides the
same function as your current E-mail account but with an easy-to-remember
E-mail ID (e.g. sally2@mbox600.provider.com.sg
compared to sally@singmail.com).

III. How do I read my e-mails from SingMAIL ?
Since SingMAIL Virtual E-mail forwards mail to your actual E-mail account
(either using your ISP, school, government or corporate account), you will
retrieve and send exactly the same way as before. No changes need to be
effected, except that you can now tell all your friends and colleagues
to send you E-mail to your SingMAIL account instead.
To effect the changes, simply add your new SingMAIL account to the reply-to
or return-address field in your favourite E-Mail software (Eudora,
Netscape, MS-Mail, Pegasus, etc).

V. Are there any restrictions to getting a SingMAIL
account ?
As much as we would like to accept everyone, we have to be selective
in our outreach. As such, only Singaporeans or Singapore residents, or
anyone with an Internet account with a local ISP are eligible for a Free
SingMAIL Virtual E-Mail account. We really want to focus on a "Singapore-only"
service, run by Singaporeans, for Singaporeans. Sorry to the rest !
